Ruff Roosta: RRR-001 ft. Da Odd Kuple

It happened in Jamaica, Queens, 1992, when producer Thyst (Jewels Of Da Nine) met the two MC's Lyrisik and Kompound at a local barbershop:

"Da Odd Kuple" were just starting with the lyrics for "Bizzum Wit Sum Lyrisissum" and acutally met Thyst at the right time being on the lookout for the right beats. Together they started recording songs at Firehouse Studio, the spot in Brooklyn at that time, where artists like the Wu-Tang Clan, Masta Ace, Mobb Deep or Gang Starr recorded their music.

The songs got never released - until now, 25 years later Ruff Roosta Records with support by Art Of Rec. proudly present the 8-track EP.

The EP is limited to 300 copies coming in full color 3mm spine sleeve, press sheet and black poly inner sleeve.
