Dope Folks: DF-0050 ft. Black Sheep

For their 50th release Dope Folks Records planned the super coup now finally presents previously unreleased music from the NYC-based and Native Tongue affiliated duo Black Sheep (Dres, Mista Lawnge).

Black Sheep became famous with their debut album "A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing" released in 1991. Their second album "Non-Fiction" (1994) failed and it took nearly on a and a half decades before they returned with the CD only album "8WM". Shortly after that Mista Lawnge left the group and Dres alone continued under the name Black Sheep.

For the anniversary and for the first time Dope Folks pressed 500 copies on 3 different vinyl colours (50 copies on white vinyl, 100 copies on red vinyl, 350 copies on black wax).
