RECORD STORE DAY 2012 - 21st of April

Diggers and vinyl heads around the world enjoy "Record Store Day 2012" today, it's the 21st of April. I was checking a couple of stores over the last days to see if I could find something special for you and yours, partly limited edition vinyl.

The first records I wanna recommend is a nice 7" featuring Eric Lau. The record is exclusively distributed via www.hhv.de and is limited to 200 copies on heavy white wax. The track "What I'd Rather" features Oddisee, the record contains vocal and instrumental version.

Another nice release will be the 7" box set of the group Visioneers. Hipology features 5 records and will be released over BBE records. Price will be around 35 €.

J-Dilla nerds will have the possibility to add the tracks "Think Twice" and "E=MC2" to their 7" collection. BBE wins again. And if we're just recommending 7inch vinyl don't forget to check the release from Aspects called "Beattape" ft. the mixes of DJ Format and Evil Ed.

A trip to Chicago and you have the limited vinyl release of Common's latest album "The Dreamer, The Believer". And what about updating your Pharcyde collection. The "Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde" box set contains 7x7 + 2CDs and the pack design is one of the best I've ever seen. Here is a nice link that provides you a couple of more releases also from other genres. Check it out, safe the vinyl and happy digging'!!!

Finally one last hint: Six2Six Records will have something dope as well and Ill Adrenaline Records will announce another sure shot this weekend. You better be prepared ...
