Funky Dividends: FDR-7005 ft. East Flatbush Project / FDR-7006 ft. Street Smartz

Funky Dividends Records from Toronto continues with repressing hip-hop classics and again on 7" vinyl format. Two releases are up for grabs on bandcamp.

In 1996 F.T., Syx, DJ Buda and DJ KO also known as Street Smartz released the single "Problems b/w Metal Thangz" with guest apprearance of O.C. (from DITC) and Pharoahe Monch (from Artifacts).

The 12" on Tru Criminal Records was produced by Buckwild and OGEE and was found on many mixtapes from the mid-90s.

A: Problemz
B: Metal Thangz ft. O.C., Pharoahe Monch

The 7" comes with hype stickered sleeve, 150 copies on ruby red and a few more on traditional black wax.

In the same year and not less heard on mixtapes was the East Flatbush Project release "Tried By 12". Producer Spencer Bellamy, part of Howie Tee's Count Disco crew, usually teamed up with less known MCs but definatley dropped some underground hits.

A: Tried By 12 ft. DeS
B: Tried By 12 (Instrumental)

The 7" comes with hype stickered sleeve, 150 copies on clear and a few more on traditional black wax.
