“It’s the Yaggfu Front, freakin’ all the stunts, steppin’ with the loot and hittin’ the blunts” is the famous hook of this North Carolina based hip hop group consisting of Spin 4th, D'Ranged & Damage and Jingle Bel.
One album and four singles released in 1993 on Mercury Records and a CD-only release in 2002 named "Secret Tapes" summarizes the discography of the group.
The debut album was full of breaks and beats used during the 90s period with many slept-on album tracks and the album made 200,000 sales
Chopped Herring focusses on a bunch of joints from 1991 til 2001 that never got a proper vinyl release at the time. Check the order page for an interview with Spin 4th.
The "Secret Tape" LP is limited to 350 copies. The first 120 copies come on clear, purple colored vinyl - the remaining 230 copies on traditional black wax delivered in sleeve with full colour 20x20 cm sticker.
