They grew up in the same block in Queens, NY and recorded plenty of demos in the late 80's / early 90's that were given to Atlantic, Jive, Elektra, Interscope or Mercury but they were not signed to release the album.
In 1995 Big Sha released his solo debut single on Funkin' Records and his EP on Chopped Herring this year.
But this is no reason to keep the demo's unreleased and so Chopped Herring takes action to finally releases 8 tracks with this EP from '92-'96.
The "That Was Then, This Is Now" EP is limited to 350 copies - the first 120 copies come on gold colour vinyl - the remaining 230 are on traditional black wax.
