"The Pharmacy" began in 1995 when Harlem's duo Quiet Noize (Layed Bak & Bad Ass) started their own team. Pharmacy consisted of the 5 MCs Layed Bak, Bad Ass, Blackness, Absoloot and the queen of the pack Taboo.

In 1997 Pharmacy released there first EP titled "Heavy Sedation". In 1999 Pharmacy disassembled, Taboo and Absoloot discontinued their music careers. Pharmacy continued with new member Tommy Gibbs and changed the groups name to Numba Runnas.

The "Heavy Sedation EP Vol. 1.5 is limited to 350 copies - the first 75 copies come on red coloured vinyl - the next 75 copies are on red and clear mixed coloured vinyl - the remaining 200 are on traditional black wax.
